Emmanuelle: The joys of a Moog


Federico Monti Arduini — A.K.A. Il Guardiano del Faro — presents us with a Moog version of Pierre Bachelet's theme from Emmanuelle.

Bachelet ripped off King Crimson's "Larks' Tongues in Aspic, Part 2" for the film's sex scenes and Crimso's Robert Fripp sued and won a settlement. Here's a comparison of the two tracks:

Weird! I'd heard about this some time ago, but I always figured it was the more lyrical middle part of the song they'd "borrowed". Part of me is startled by what a naked bit of plagiarism it is, and part of me is thinking, "Huh? Why THAT section for a sex scene?"
